The people_tracking folder contains three practical pieces:

  • download_data.py Downloads the sample offline dataset circle.bin
  • people_tracking.py An end-to-end offline pipeline with Range FFT, Capon beamforming, CFAR, Doppler estimation, EKF, and visualization
  • EKF_from_TLV.py Uses point-cloud / TLV-style output from a TI radar for live EKF tracking

Offline pipeline summary

  1. Read circle.bin
  2. Reorganize ADC samples with DCA1000.organize
  3. Run range_processing
  4. Apply aoa_capon
  5. Run CFAR via ca_
  6. Estimate Doppler
  7. Update the EKF
  8. Visualize tracks and points through gtrack_visualize
